Installation of Excelsior Mark Lodge 359
 
On the 20th February 2020 PG.Ms Representative W. Bro David Rigby Provincial Senior Grand Warden was welcomed to the installation of W. Bro Derek Horrocks, (The PGMs Special Representative for Garston),
W. Bro Barry Tomlinson also welcomed V.W. Bro Eric Hughes and his colleagues from Grand lodge.
For the purpose of the installation W. Bro Barry Tomlinson called for the Master Elect to be presented to him, in compliance, the Master Elect W.Bro Derek Horrocks was duly presented.
W. Bro Barry Tomlinson asked the usual questions which the Master Elect answered.  The officers for the Inner Workings took their positions within the lodge. The Installing Master requested the Brethren below the rank of an Installed Master in the Mark Degree to withdraw; the Assembly of Installed Masters was opened,
W. Bro Barry Tomlinson performed the Ceremony of Installation in an impeccable manner.
W. Bro Derek Horrocks then invested his IPM W. Bro Barry Tomlinson as IPM and thanked him for his assistance in gaining the chair of Excelsior Mark Lodge. 
Following the closing of the Assembly of Installed Masters the Brethren were re-admitted into the Lodge.
The Working Tools were presented and explained by W. Bro, Barry Tomlinson the Hall Stone and Key Stone Collarets were presented and explained by V.W. Bro Eric Hughes.
W. Bro Barry Tomlinson gave address to the Master in an excellent manner. The Address to the Wardens was given by W. Bro Basil Keys and Address to the Overseers by W. Bro Graeme Phimester, which were presented in fine style.
W. Bro David Rigby Pr.S.G.W. gave the Address the Brethren and then thanked who all had taken part in the ceremony.
The Worshipful Master then offered a Cheque of £ 100, to the West Lancashire Mark Charities and £50 to the Garston Masonic Building Fund.
