| With no candidate, and an inclination to avoid a demonstration of the ceremony of advancement, Jubilee Mark Lodge No 375 opted for a lecture at their latest meeting. |

| Called into service to deliver this at Ulverston Masonic Hall was lodge stalwart Alan Jones. |
| Alan chose for his lecture two topics. “Mark Man and Mark Master” followed by “The use of the Mark and the Keystone.” |
| These were based upon the writings of the popular Masonic author the Rev. Neville Cryer. |
| The lecture was well received being informative and interesting. It certainly raised some points a s to the importance of Mark Masonry in the overall masonic structure. |
