Scorton Declares Bill |
| The latest meeting of Scorton Mark Lodge No 1103 at Garstang Masonic Hall was a brief but nonetheless important one for two of the members. |

| Worship Master Les Newlands was able to declare senior warden Bill Richmond as master elect for the ensuing year. On expressing his thanks to the lodge Bill remarked, “Well I have been a member for 34 years so I suppose it’s about time.” |
| It would be fair to observe that during those years Bill has been somewhat busy in other orders administered from Mark Masons Hall. |
| In contrast David Partington is on the start of his journey in the degree and it was my pleasure to explain his grand lodge certificate to him prior to it being formally presented by Les. |

| Enjoying the fellowship and craic were a trio of northern nomads from around the Bay in the persons of the WM of The Furness Mark Lodge No 36 Graham Benson, his lodge secretary Kieron Mullan and Jubilee Mark Lodge No 375 chaplain Jim Richards. |
