| Business meeting 20th November 2023 at the Masonic Hall, Poulton Le Fylde. | |
| A small crew of Royal Ark Mariners boarded the Prince Setanta Lodge for a business and lecture meeting. | |

| WBro. Alan Gould acted as Worshipful Commander due to the Worshipful Commander WBro. Joe O’Brien being unable to attend. | |
| Bro Tony Thackrah, a visitor, acted as JW for the meeting. | |
 |

| Some internal Lodge business was attended to and the Brethren were then treated to an informative lecture entitled “The Mysterious Porphyry Stone” given by WBro. Mike Casey. | |
| The lecture was written by WBro. Ray Pye. | |
 |

| The lecture was well received and sparked a little discussion. | |
| The Lodge was closed and the Brethren assembled in the bar for refreshments and the festive board. | |
| Lively discussion ensued accompanied by a French onion soup starter followed by Lancashire hotpot, beetroot and pickled onions. | |

| A raffle was held that raised £50. | |
| An enjoyable night was had by all! | |
