| Well Brethren, our long awaited and planned event has finally arrived. | |

| Arriving at Southport for tonight’s presentation is the culmination of the excellent work that has been put in to this event, our Pr.G.Sec. Kevin, has endeavoured to make this a success, ably assisted by our excellent Special Representative, V.W.Bro Maurice. | |

| The Lodge was opened at 6pm, and called off at 6.15. | |

| W.Bro Roy Hedges then presented the A.P.G.M to the WM, W Bro Ian Tupling. | |
| Seventeen Craft Brethren where admitted and welcomed by the W.M. | |
| Questions and answers then followed. | |

| A presentation entitled , “ Magic of the Mark” was given by W. Bro Kevin Chicken, and received with aplomb. | |
| The A.P.G.M and the Special Representative added a few observations. | |
| There being no further business, the A.P.G.M and Craft Masons where invited to retire. | |
| The Lodge was resumed. | |
| Mike and Maurice chatted informally with the Craft Brethren. | |
| Well Brethren. If you have never been to a Freshfield Christmas festive board, you’re missing out. | |

| After an excellent fish and chips supper, the brethren welcomed in the Marshside Brass Band, accompanied by W.Bro. Roger Watkinson on piano, who had handed out hymn books. | |
| Then followed 30 mins of excellent music and singing, enjoyed by all. | |
| W Bro. Mike. In his response to the toast to Grand Lodge, presented a cheque for £100 to Richard Jenkinson. | |

| This excellent cheque from the West Lancashire Mark Province, was donated to the Southport children’s Christmas party, of which Richard is a committee member. | |
| The cheque was warmly received and we were all assured it will be put to good use this Sunday. | |
