Prince Setanta Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 1446 |
|
| Blackpool Cricket Club, West Park Drive, Blackpool on Monday 11th November 2024. | |
| The members of the Lodge and a regular visitor gathered at the Cricket Club for a regular business meeting with a ballot for a joining member. | |
| The Lodge was quickly set up by the members of the Lodge. The Acting Worshipful Commander; WBro. Andrew Stansfield opened the Lodge and welcomed everybody. A dispensation was read out allowing the Lodge to meet at the new location. | |
| A ballot was taken for a joining member; Bro. Craig Scott, which proved in favour. Due to a diary clash, Bro. Scott was not able to be present to be welcomed into the Lodge. | |
| A lively discussion was held re the proposal for future joint meetings with Prince Setanta Mark Lodge. It was agreed that a flexible approach should be taken going forward to ensure the future longevity and success of both Lodges. | |
| The Lodge was closed and the room quickly and easily derigged and rerigged for dining. | |
| An excellent meal of lasagne followed by a chocolate fudge cake and fresh cream was enjoyed by all. Spare portions were eagerly devoured! | |
| Lively discussion ensued during the meal. | |
| A raffle was organised by WBro. Mike Casey which raised £50 for charity. | |
| An enjoyable night was had by all with many more to follow in the Lodges new home and with the proposed flexible approach. | |
