| Brethren, those of you who gave attended a Freshfield Christmas event, will understand. It is indeed a spectacular to behold. | |

| W.Bro. Kevin Chicken. Pr.G.Sec, a member of the Lodge, had skilfully steered the evening into a white table event. | |
| It was excellent to see 8 non-Mark Masons, parade into the Lodge after calling off. | |

| We were all treated to a lecture and demonstration of active Masonry. | |
| W Bro. Tony Baker, who worked all his life as an operative mason, presented the lecture with all the working tools demonstrated. | |
| Well Brethren, how have i previously missed this. Tony is a long-standing member of my Lodge and frequently provides this service to Lodges. |

| The MM’ s then retired and the Lodge business concluded. | |
| Now Brethren, as previously hinted, the focus of the night is the festive board. | |
 |

The Marshside Brass Band assembled |
|
| After dining, out come the carol books, firing glasses, port and the Marshside Brass Band. | |
| Then followed an hour-long rendition of Christmas carols and audience participation. | |
| Everyone goes home with ringing ears and fond memories! | |
| Well done Freshfield, let’s hope our guests. Like my guest have been persuaded to join us. | |
