E.Comp Ian Sanderson, AtoProvGP’s; (Ian is a member of Lebanon TI Mark Lodge), attended the meeting and delivered a potted version of Peter’s Masonic career; this was both informative and amusing. E.Comp Sanderson then invited, the Liverpool Group Chairman E.Comp Dave Johnson, (a member of Corinthian Mark Lodge), to read out the certificate that had been issued by the Provinces of West Lancashire and signed by the PGM/Grand Superintendent Mark Matthews, to commemorate Peter’s 60 years in the Royal Arch.

A 60th wedding anniversary is a Diamond anniversary and Peter Connolly’s achievements in his 60 plus years of Masonry shows what a Masonic diamond Peter is. Among those attending from the Mark Degree to celebrate with Peter were; APGM, VWBro Geoff Bury; WBro Steve Walls, the PGM’s Special Rep for the Liverpool Group of Mark Lodges; and WBro Paul Broadley and many others.

In response to the toast to his health at the festive board, Peter thanked everyone for attending and managed to slip in some Peter Connolly humour. A great night was had by all and we thank Peter for all he has done for Masonry over the years and in particular the Mark Degree in West Lancs. Mark Well, Peter for many years to come.
