Prince Setanta Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 1446

Part 2 of a Mark / RAM double header - Blackpool Cricket Club, West Park Drive, Blackpool on Monday 15th September 2025.
The Lodge was quickly set up by the members following the Prince Setanta Mark meeting earlier in the evening (Part 1).
Twenty-two members, visitors, joining members and candidates in total, gathered for a busy meeting of RAM Masonry, with a ballot for two joining members and two candidates for elevation on the summons, plus other regular Lodge business!
The Worshipful Commander: Bro. Chris Tittley opened the Lodge and welcomed everybody. A dispensation was read out allowing the Lodge to meet at the cricket club.
The Commander worked through the business on the summons.
A ballot was taken and proved in favour of joining members, W. Bro’s. Philip Watson and Christopher Lamb, who had joined Prince Setanta Mark less than an hour previously.
Bro. Michael Cook, the IPM of Prince Setanta Mark Lodge and Bro Joe Codling WM of Bispham with Norbreck Mark Lodge No 866 were proposed for elevation, with the subsequent ballot proving in favor.
The two Brothers were duly elevated by the Officers of the Lodge and welcomed in by the Commander.
The Lodge was closed, and the room was derigged of Masonic equipment and rerigged for dining!
Lively discussion ensued during the meal, an excellent chicken curry, rice and chips!
A raffle was organised by WBro. Bob Bennet, which raised £130 for charity.
An interesting, lively and enjoyable night was had by all with Prince Setanta RAM going from strength to strength in its new home.
