The Walton business meeting 21 May
 
The Walton Mark Lodge, No 161, or as it referred to on KOL, The Walton; holds two meetings a year.
 
The Installation is held on 1st Wednesday in December at Bryn Masonic Hall and the Business meeting is held on the 3rd Wednesday in May at The Palace Masonic Hall, St Annes-on-Sea. This being May it was the second meeting of the Lodge which is the business meeting.
Walton Mark promoted members
It was a glorious day, but borrowing a line from Austin,’ apart for the traffic on the M56 and the M6 at Lymm’. Unfortunately, there were a few members missing for various reasons including the Worshipful Master, but fortunately the Lodge secretary WBro Peter Craven sorted it all out.
The Lodge was opened with WBro Derek Gaskell in the chair and the business was progressed. This included a successful ballot for two joining members, WBro Phil Pattullo and WBro Gordon Sandford. The Annual Statement of Accounts was presented by VWBro Michael Clarke on behalf of the treasurer, and these were accepted, and WBro David Atkinson was declared Master Elect for the ensuing year. David was also elected as the Royal Ark Mainer Ambassador.
 
During the risings all those who had been promoted at the Provincial Grand Lodge on 8th May were given salutations. It was also noted that the 2026 Provincial Grand Lodge will be held on 15/04 2026 at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
 
After the meeting had been closed it was time for a first-class meal. It was an enjoyable meeting and meal and it was all done and finished before 8.30 p.m!
