Imperial  Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 1276
 
252nd meeting of the Lodge on Friday 2nd October 2026 at Blackpool Cricket Club, West Park Drive.
Meeting to include a presentation of the “Magic of the Mark” by VWBro. Giles Berkley PGJO Dep. PGM.
The meeting was held by dispensation until the Lodge changes its by laws.
The WM, WBro. Clive Gitsham opened the Lodge at 6.30pm. 13 Brethren were present plus 3 non Mark Masons waiting in the wings to be suitably convinced of the error of their ways!
WBro. Cross acted as guest DC for the night.
The WM offered VWBro. Berkley the gavel of the Lodge which was gratefully  accepted and returned with expediency.  The WM continued through the business on the summons, including the declaration that Bro. Glenn Priestley (SW) be the WM for the ensuing year and that WBro. Chris Sage continue as treasurer.
Bro. Priestley could not be present due to him being in hospital. Get well soon!
A proposal for a joining member was made by WBro. Andrew Stansfield.
The Lodge was closed and the non Mark Masons were invited in to watch and listen to the presentation by VWBro. Berkley, with input from a number of others present.
The Lodge equipment was dismantled and the room set up for the festive board.
Lively discussion with a friendly atmosphere accompanied a very nice buffet including a dark chocolate cheesecake, which was enjoyed by all.
A raffle was organised by WBro. Chris Sage which raised £100 for Charity.
An enjoyable night of Mark Masonry with possibly 3 new members was had by all!
