Premiere at Jubilee |
| Ulverston Masonic Hall was the setting for Jubilee Mark Lodge No 375 to host the premiere of a presentation by John Wood entitled, “The Noble Orders of Architecture and their relevance to Freemasonry.” | |
Paul Johnson, Brian Benn, John Wood, Tony Taylor, Derek Pallister and David Smith |
| WM Reg Wilkinson opened the lodge and oversaw a brief meeting prior to the lodge being closed for the purpose of the lecture as John is not a Mark Master Mason. John’s brother Keith Wood is a member of Jubilee. John practices his craft masonry in Alnwick but is a regular visitor to the Furness area. | |

| The script for the presentation had been researched and written by John but involved 7 lodge members in its delivery. It was very well received proving both informative and thought provoking. | |

| Its success was evidenced by the fact that afterwards people were looking at the possibility of hosting the lecture at other meetings or requesting copies of it to deliver themselves. | |
| It proved a very pleasant evening in the Mark degree. | |
