A New Tie For the Mark Province of West Lancashire
 
Brethren, our Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master, Brother Peter Connolly, has suggested that we should have a new Mark tie.  The current design has served us well for some 20 years.  However, the introduction of other masonic ties means that it is not as distinctive as it was originally.
 
We are, therefore, today launching a competition for the design of a new West Lancs Mark tie.  The closing date for entries is Sunday 30th September 2012
 
Please note it does not have to be black, or dark blue!  Our PGM has noted Mark and RAM ties with red and green stripes; solid silver background; pale blue and royal blue stripes, etc on visits to other Provinces.  We are open to imaginative suggestions.
 
When the design has been finalised we shall look for a quality manufacturer.
 
In return for a successful submission, the province will donate £500 to a Charity nominated by the winning designer.
