| In the Craft, Kevin was initiated into Tarleton Lodge 7871 at Leyland he served as ADC for two years and DC for three years and was installed as Master in May 1992. His first rank was Provincial Grand Steward in 1997, and then Past Provincial Senior Grand Deacon in 2001 and Past Provincial Grand Superintendent of Works in 2021. He is a former member of Quingenti Lodge 8516, Phoenix Lodge 9206 and is currently a member of Stanley of Bickerstaffe Lodge 3511 where he has served as Master for two years and secretary for three years. Also a member of Omnium Lodge 10007 (Cheshire). He is currently the Treasurer at Ormskirk Masonic Hall. |  |
| In Royal Arch he was exalted in the Withy Chapter 7733 in 1994 and was first Principal in 2002 and is now a member of Stanley of Bickerstaffe Chapter 3511 where he is the Scribe. He was promoted to Past Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies 2014 and to Past Provincial Assistant Grand Sojourner in 2023. | |

| Kevin is married to Karen, with three daughters Helen, Gayle and Joanne and two grandsons Shay and Nicki and a stepdaughter Cheryl and stepson Colin and grandson Rohan. | |
| He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and graduated with a master’s degree, in Manufacturing Science and Technology, having worked initially as a marine seagoing engineer before taking up a role as an engineer surveyor and finally as a risk services manager. He ran his own company for twelve years before retiring. | |
